It's a shame you drop the project. I hope you will pic it up someday. Since it been quite a while, i'm assuming you got better at making animation (plus you might got better program too). Even if you don't continue the whole thing, I'm dying to see a remake or whole new trailer based on your reimaginated Sonic just as a showcase of what you can do.
Yup. I severely underestimated the work involved in created a Flash series. Of course, this was at a time when everyone and their brother was making a Flash series, so it seemed much more possible at the time. Live and learn, I suppose.
About a month for the trailer + a week of planning. After the trailer went live I starting trying to improve my animating skills, but then I quickly realized that better animation = more time. The only way I could have finished the project would have been to drop out of school and do it full time, which seemed like a huge risk to take for an IP that I could never own or monetize, regardless of how successful it was or how much fame it garnered me.
this is true. i myself on several occasions (though i lack the artisitic and probably the writting tallen) have honestly considered retelling the satam story. alias, that is a pipe dream that will in all probablity never happen
The Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon that aired on ABC Saturday mornings from 1993-1994. SatAM is used to distinguish this Sonic cartoon from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog which aired during the same period, but during the weekdays. [link](TV_series)
Amazing, it is simply amazing. Itís a moody more serious and darker vision of sonic like the show, and what skills you have with flash!!! I can only hope that you will find time and energy to complete it. It is so nice to see that people are still willing to take it seriously despite the total shit storm from sonic team and its insipid fan base of recolor retards and the things that must not be mentioned.
